Schloder Surge Generators

Schloder Surge Generators

Schloder surge generators provide reliable and comprehensive testing solutions for high-energy interference pulses, ensuring compliance with global EMC standards and enhancing the durability and reliability of your electronic and electrical systems.
In operation, electronic and electrical devices, systems, and installations must not be impaired by surge voltages. Surge voltages, such as atmospheric discharges (lightning strikes), short circuits, or significant switching overvoltages (switching capacitor banks), involve currents in the kV / kA range and rise times in the microsecond range. These voltages can exhibit a broadband spectrum up to several MHz. During surge testing, these high-energy voltages are simulated by surge generators to test their impact on devices in accordance with IEC 61000-4-5.
Applications:

Atmospheric discharges (lightning strikes)
Short circuits
Switching overvoltages (e.g., switching capacitor banks)

Advantages of Using Schloder Surge Generators:

Comprehensive EMC Testing: Ensure devices meet IEC 61000-4-5 standards, protecting against high-energy surges.
User-Friendly Design: Intuitive interfaces and memory functions simplify testing procedures.
Durable and Reliable: High-quality components ensure long-lasting performance and reliability.
Versatile and Modular: The modular design of systems like the PSURGE 30.2 allows for a wide range of testing applications and easy customization.
