The SY 9223-439 transformer causes a voltage transformation Uin / Uout = 1 / 2 and is designed for operation with hand- held field coil – e.g. FESP 5132 when performing tests according to IEC 61000-4-39. For this purpose, the field coil must be excited with the signal voltage of over 60 Vrms at 134 kHz to reach the field strength of 65 A/m. Other applications in the frequency range up to 1… 3 MHz are possible.

The SY 9223 Profibus balun adapts a symmetrical signal to a coaxial line. Usually twisted pairs with an impedance of approx. 120 Ω are used to transmit the Profibus signals. The SY 9223 Profibus can be applied to use an existing triaxial wiring.

The SY 9223-7637-4 is a balanced-to-unbalanced transformer (abbr. balun) – transforming an unsymmetrical RF signal into a symmetrical one while not transforming the impedance.
